Ellsworth Hill: Important Dates and Reminders:

  • November 26-28, 2025 - Thanksgiving Break
  • December 1, 2025 - Classes resume
  • December 9, 2025 - POE Day - Engaged Collaborator
  • December 18, 2025 - PTO Winter Wonderland Day
  • December 19, 2025 - No School - Teacher Records Day
  • December 22, 2025 - January 2, 2026 - Winter Break
  • January 5, 2026 - School Back in Session

Student Absences and Attendance:  Any time a student is absent or late to school, it is necessary to call 330-653-1300.  This attendance line is in operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Please state the following: child’s name, parent’s name, teacher’s name, date of absence, and a brief reason for the absence.

🪪 Due to updates to Raptor security system, you MUST bring your driver’s license to scan to enter the building each time you visit.

New Sign IN/Sign OUT procedure: To help parents with signing in or out your students, we have moved to a Google Form via a QR Code. Parents should bring their ID and phone when signing in/out students. Parents, we ask that you complete the form before the student can be released.

Student Fees 2025-2026 School Year - Student Fees for this year have been posted. You can now pay for your student's school fees in PaySchools.

Bus Stop Kids of the Day

WKYC-TV Channel 3 News is looking for some new students to feature as "Bus Stop Kids of the Day" on their morning program.  If you are interested, all you need to do is email a photo of your child to: busstopkids@wkyc.com.

**To guarantee that your student receives a yearbook, you must purchase BEFORE 2/14/26. Yearbooks cost $25. After 2/14/26, any extra yearbooks will be sold cash & carry first come first serve and will cost $30.**

Join us for the next Ellsworth Hill PTO meeting on December 3rd.
 

Hudson Community First

The Hudson Community First - Annual Holiday Shoppe & Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 10 am - 1pm at East Woods Intermediate. Children (preschool - Age 12) will secretly shop with a Middle School Elf who helps them stay on budget and ensures every person on their pre-written list gets a special gift.  Items range in cost from $3-$15.  Credit Cards, cash, and checks are accepted. The shoppe is stocked with a delightful variety of gifts perfect for everyone on their list.  In addition, HCF, invites the entire community to shop at the Craft Fair featuring 25 vendors selling a variety of unique items, including handmade holiday crafts, spirit wear, delicious treats, and so much more.  We hope to see you there!

Nutrition Services: Ellsworth Hill will be serving breakfast and lunch this year. Breakfast rates are: $1.75 or $2.00 per meal. Lunch is $3.25.

Safe Snack List

Ellsworth Hill Daily Schedule:

Students’ School Day Begins:

  • 8:45 AM 1st bell rings. Students begin entering the building & report to classrooms.
  • 9:00 AM School begins for all students. Tardy bell rings. Students should be in their classrooms.  Please make every effort to have your student here on time. 

Dismissal:

  • 3:41 PM Walkers and bike riders are dismissed to the playground.
  • 3:42 PM Car riders are dismissed to the gym and exit to the playground.
  • 3:45 PM Bus riders are called over the PA in order of arrival and dismissed to the bus lot.

♦♦ Parent Pick-Up Reminder: Please display the car tag on the rearview mirror or car rider sign with your child's name on it in the front window/passenger side of your car. LEAVE your sign in your window until your child is in the car with you. If you need a tag or sign please let the classroom teacher know and one can be sent home.
